Guardian Safety
Overview
Guardian Safety Equipment produces eyewash and shower equipment for emergencies. I was hired to update the entire site, work on print catalogs and update CAD drawing files. Before this project could go live, I was moved from Guardian to their parent company, WaterSaver.
My Role
My main role in this project was to redesign the entire website and ensure the search function could help users quickly find specific equipment parts.
Utilizing WordPress, I decided that using the same template WaterSaver was using would help create brand recognition. For the images of the products I was teamed with a 3d designer that was making updates.
The existing site used small text and a cramped layout, and it was not responsive, making it difficult to navigate on mobile devices. Improving legibility and simplifying navigation were key priorities in my redesign.
